Semester Class
Quarterly Expectations
Each student will compile a notebook of all handouts, assignments, and class notes. We will be exploring many Mac applications using the school's iBooks. Some programs that we investigate are: Garageband, Sound Studio-vs-Audacity, iMovie scoring, & Finale. If you miss a class it is your responsibility to make it up on your own time. You will have approximately 10 projects throughout the semester. Your final semester exam will be a digital presentation, using the classroom Smartboard, outlining your learning.
What you need EVERY CLASS
1.Pen/Pencil
2.3-ring notebook
3.An Open-Mind, like a parachute…it will only work when it is open
Grading
You will have four segments to your quarterly grades, excluding the final semester exam that will be averaged into your final grade in the traditional manner.
1. 20% Notebook
2. 70% Projects/Homework/Tests/Notes
3. 10% Daily Participation-Preparation Rubrics
