We had a great social get together April 18th.
We had lots of food, games, and a fantastic screen for video games! We used a projector in the auditorium and played the Wii!
We are now focusing our efforts on the election of our next school year's officers.
We will have nominations next member meeting. The week following will be campaigning & caucusing. The week after that we will have a vote!
We successfully attended our annual Spring Leadership Conference.
This is our big Conference of the year put on by the State FBLA. It was held March 16-18. We had 35 students attend & we took home 7 Awards (which is saying a lot since we do not have a business program at Telstar)!
We successfully maneuvered our Etiquette Dinner
Our dinner was on March 4th, TUESDAY after school. Students were divided into cook & serve teams. Newbies were challenged to a game of Etiquette Jeopardy. All students dined together (buffet style) then they all clean up until the rooom was back to it's original state (if not better).
Please note that the Phone-A-Thon
fund-raiser for Project Opportunity has been postponed, again. Mr.Davis is pondering doing a 'stuff-n-fluff' mailing appeal after February vacation instead.
